HFL-971
Hydro-Fused® / Nonasbestos Gasket Materials
ASTM F-104: F729900E39M9
Material Description:
HFL-971 is a high density material with a combination of fully cured nitrile butadiene binder and thermoset resin for superior mechanical strength in heavy-duty applications. It has exceptional tensile strength, crush resistance, blowout resistance, erosion resistance, and resistance to shear and friction damage in dynamic joints. It is intended for applications sealing transmission fluid, axle lube, oil, fuel, coolant, water, and steam with short duration maximum temperatures up to 350°C (650°F).
